Scott Haxton has been appraising commercial properties for nearly 20 years. Scott obtained his MAI in 2000, and served as President of the Southern Idaho Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2003. Scott started Haxton & company in 2008 with the goal of setting a standard for excellence.

Effective July 1, 1991, the State of Idaho implemented a mandatory program of licensing/certification of real estate appraisers; the program became mandatory July 1, 1992. I have met the qualifications to appraise all types of real estate and am currently certified. My certification number is CGA-229.

MAI member of the Appraisal Institute. My member number is 11617. My effective date of membership is August 11, 2000.

Scope of Appraisal Experience:
Scott's appraisal experience includes 798 appraisals from 1992 through 2007. This total is comprised of 170 office/medical office, 119 retail, 177 industrial, 12 mini storage, 29 mobile home parks, 66 apartments, 92 vacant land, 22 residential and commercial subdivisions, and 111 miscellaneous and special use appraisals including restaurants, nursing homes, mortuaries, carwashes, bars and condemnation.

Scott's total appraisals performed has now exceeded 1,000.
